B52 Clinic started its activity in October 2020, being established by four partners with a common desire, that of creating a medical business focused on the specific needs of patients with complex cardio-pulmonary pathology in Romania.

We are the first to implement the concept of integrative cardio-thoracic medicine: offering patients with suspicion of or cardio-pulmonary pathology a wide range of diagnostic services, imaging and functional investigations, integrating and supporting the patient in lifestyle changes, through nutrition, psychological support and physical therapy.

Location

Since the process of choosing the space of the future clinic, we wanted the experience of each patient who steps on our threshold to be a personal one, in a family, pleasant, comfortable setting, in a quiet area, easily accessible both by means of transport shared, as well as by personal car or ambulance. 52 Cardio-Thorax Center is located in the Piața Dorobantilor area, on Strada Intrarea Bitolia 52, with two parking spaces provided in front of the clinic. Access is from Dorobanti Square.

The Clinic

We wanted the design team to create a quiet, yet comfortable space both during the time spent in the waiting room and during the medical consultation.

We are constantly investing in ensuring protective measures for patients and a space that meets the demands imposed by DSP. During the waiting period, patients are constantly supervised by an experienced nurse, able to intervene in case of emergency.

To facilitate access for patients who permanently or temporarily use walking aids, we have provided the space with an access ramp and handrail. The consulting offices are equipped with high-performance medical equipment, ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of the consultation throughout its duration.

The offices are located on several levels: B52 Basement is spatially intended for the physical therapy room.

All training is carried out under the supervision of an experienced nurse and physiotherapist. This space also serves to carry out the stress test, which is carried out only in the presence of a specialist cardiologist.

On the ground floor you will find the office for echocardiography, with access from both the reception and the courtyard. Level 0 of the clinic also houses the reception, the diabetes consultation room and the space for pre-consultation investigations (electrocardiogram, blood pressure, temperature and peripheral oxygen saturation) and the installation of Holter devices for blood pressure or rhythm. On the first floor of the clinic there is the pneumology consultation room and the cardiology/interventional cardiology/arrhythmology consultation room.

The attic of the clinic serves the administrative space, being equipped with a conference room.
